Maria Kata is a DJ, whose sound combines deep and hypnotic techno with organic and layered sounds. Inspired by soundscapes that feed the stream of consciousness, euphoria and imagination, Maria’s sets move naturally between ethereal ambient, dub elements and powerful techno. After living in the Netherlands and Belgium for the past years Maria recently relocated to Helsinki.

Maria’s curated radio show, Fluorescence, focuses on deeper sounds of techno, airs on IDA Radio Helsinki.
